As you guys know, I'm building my car for NASA's Performance Touring Class. Here's essentially the build plans that I have for it. Hopefully I'll get there one day!
The basic hopes that I'd like to accomplish is a well balanced handling car, with around 200-220whp and a weight of 2700lbs. Engine: Destroke the 4.2 back to 3.8 (w/ forged SC internals) SSM Stage 3 Single-Port Heads Self Ported and Polished Lower Self Cut & Weld Upper Custom Spec'd Camshaft 1.73 RR's Comp .600" Beehive Springs Hardened Push Rods 24# Injectors To go along with that all of the essential goodies that help bullet proof (arp studs, 3 layer head gaskets, etc. etc. Suspension: (Front) Griggs Racing Coilovers w/ Bilstein Adjustable Struts Griggs A-Arms Griggs K-Member Griggs SLA Upper Control Arms Griggs C/C Plates Griggs Anti-Roll Bar Griggs Bumpsteer Kit (Rear) Griggs Lower Control Arms Bilstein Adjustable Shocks H&R Super Race Springs Cobra Rear Sway Bar Drivetrain: (Transmission) TKO-500 Transmission FRPP King Cobra Clutch SPEC Aluminum Flywheel FRPP Aluminum Driveshaft MGW Orange Shifter Steeda Firewall Adjuster Steeda Clutch Quadrant FRPP Shift Knob (Rear End) 7.5 Rear End Moser Spline Hardened Axles Detroit TruTrac FRPP 4.10 Gears TA Girdle Steeda Driveshaft Safety Loop Interior: Gutted Interior except for dash FR500C Race Wheel Sparco Hub w/ Quick Release System Cobra Evolution S Race Seat G-Force 5 Point Harnesses Custom Built Roll Cage with "Nascar" Bars Autometer Race Panel w/ autometer gauges Scott Aluminum Rear Seat Delete Scott Aluminum Door Panels Exterior: Cervinis Cobra R Front Bumper Cervinis Heat Extractor Hood SVO Side Skirts CDC Side Scoops w/ functional brake ducting Saleen T1 Spoiler Gulf Style Paint Job done by myself Here's essentially what I'm going for. It's not exact because I made this 3d model back in high school and don't want to take another month to make a 94-98 model haha. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- |

haha the main reason why I'm going with that is the combination of Powder Blue and Topaz (the orange) is excellent for covering up dents, orange peel, and any paint imperfections. Besides that, yeah the gulf scheme will look badass -------------------- |

No Dane fiberglass bodys aren't allowed. The most I could do is fender flares. -------------------- |
